Let me hereby present the Solar Energy Association of Kazakhstan, created by companies with unique experience in solar power plants construction projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Accumulated experience has shown that today investors do not have a clear understanding of the conditions and functioning mechanisms of the renewable energy industry. There is no understanding of the risks present in these conditions, there is often an exaggeration of non-intrinsic risks and an underestimation of significant risks.

Developers face with a large amount of non-systematised information that needs to be understood and taken into account in their operations to the detriment of operational efficiency and flexibility.

There is no understanding of the stages sequence of projects implementation.

There is a lack of understanding of the functioning principles of the trading platform where the tariff auctions are held, which inevitably leads to a loss of potential victory in the auction and to a loss of time (six months before the next auctions).

A misunderstanding of the role of local executive authorities in the allocation of land plots and the coordination of construction projects with authorised bodies was also noted.

Bearing in mind the above, in order to develop the industry and successfully implement the solar power plants construction projects, exchange experience and consolidate market players, it was decided to merge legal entities into the Solar Energy Association of Kazakhstan.

The Association brings together investors, developers and equipment manufacturers, as well as international financial institutions, research and design institutes, it will allow to improve the current legislation in the field of renewable energy sources.

We are sure that joining the Association will allow you, by using the successful experience of the Association members, to realise your own project with the least financial and time costs.

Representatives of related industries will find here opportunities to expand business and establish new contacts necessary for promotion of their own products.
